This is exactly what happens each year when Goodguys goes to Del Mar for the weekend. Lots of surf, sand, sun, and hot rods will gather at the Del Mar fairgrounds starting this Friday. If the draw of the beach and thousands of hotrods wasn’t enough to satisfy your cravings, there will be plenty of other activities to keep you entertained throughout the 3 day event. Our favorite, of course, is the auto cross. If you’ve never attempted an auto cross before, then the Goodguys shows are a great opportunity to get your feet wet. Even if white knuckle, lip biting, tire screeching fun isn’t your thing, you should at least go watch the other guys rip around the track. It’s about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. After the excitement of the car show day is over, you can get your feet literally wet in the ocean, because you know there isn’t anything more romantic than watching the sun set over the Pacific.
