This 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback named “Bailout” was built by Ringbrothers. Mike and Jim Ring have helped design and build many amazing vehicles for other people through their own shop in Wisconsin. They’re known across the country for their outstanding and award winning high-end builds. Sometimes they have to take a break from building cars for other people and build something for themselves to enjoy. This is where this ’66 Mustang comes in.

In an interview with Mustangandfords.com, Jim Ring said: “We built this Mustang out of our heads, with nothing on paper.” They did a great job with it, too. Under the hood is a 427ci Windsor stroker engine built by Keith Kraft Performance Engines in Arkadelphia, AR. The small-block pumps out 602 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. Making good use of all this power is a Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed transmission from Bowler Performance Transmissions.

Wheels are Forgeline satin black powdercoated WC3’s 18×9.5 in the front and 18×12 in the rear. Tires are G-Force KDW’s from BFGoodrich, and bringing it all to a stop are Baer Pro Plus brakes. The brakes are 14-inch cross-drilled and slotted two-piece rotors, with six-piston calipers. The interior was restored by Upholstery Unlimited in Clinton, IA. Inside you’ll see custom floor covering in black, Recaro seating, Classic Instruments gauges, Tilton floor-mount pedals, a LeCarra steering wheel that’s custom wrapped in red leather, an Alpine head unit and amps, and Kicker speakers and subwoofers.

The exterior paint color is a BASF Glasurit paint, mixed by Ringbrothers and named Stimulus Blue. This is another superb build from Ringbrothers and we’re proud to have our transmission being used in it.
