Level 7 Motorsports recently took the initiative on restoring and appreciating the slowly climbing value of the third-generation Chevrolet Camaro. For a long time, this generation has been left largely unloved, and its bargain prices haven’t endeared it to the pro-touring enthusiast community, either. Now that they’re finally beginning to appreciate in value, these cars could be next in line for a trend in pro-touring, starting with this 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28!
The 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 has been completely restored and modified by Level 7 Motorsports. They chose a Camaro Z/28 25th Anniversary car to restore, after it has spent a long time being maintained by the owner. Eventually, the owner discovered some rust and decided it was time for drastic measures. Level 7 Motorsports performed a thorough inspection of the situation, and decided with the owner that it was time to rip the car apart for a thorough restoration. It was a perfect time to restore it to the tune of pro-touring, while they were at it!
Level 7 Motorsports revamped this third-generation Camaro with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine. It’s paired to a T56 Magnum six-speed transmission that was built by Bowler Performance Transmissions! It was also restored with an exciting red interior and exterior work that looks very promising for anyone hoping to see more of this trend continuing into the pro-touring community.
