Believe it or not, that’s an LSX 454 crate engine under the hood!  Roadster Shop has once again worked their magic on this 1970 Chevelle by taking the new and making it appear to be the original.  Winning a GM Design award at the 2018 SEMA show this 70 Chevelle was factory equipped with a big block 454, but with the owner wanting new engine reliability, a fuel injected Chevrolet Performance crate engine was in order.  Although Roadster Shop is known for their over-the-top builds, the simplicity in this build speaks volumes for their talent in making the simple seem extraordinary.  Starting with a solid body the crew at Roadster Shop laid it over the top of one of their SPEC series chassis and backed that LSX up with a Bowler prepped Tremec T56 Magnum.  Be sure to click the photo link for more build photos.
