This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle you see here was built by the team at Goolsby Customs for owner Ryan Kochen. He found the Chevelle in pretty rough shape close to his home town but saw the potential in it. Ryan and the Chevelle eventually made their way to the Goolsby Customs shop in Alabama. After about a year of working on the car, the result was the masterpiece that you see in the photos below. In an interview with SuperChevy.com, Ryan says: “We wanted to create a high-performance American muscle car with the rich look of a high-end European exotic.”

After smoothing the front bumper, tucking the rear bumper, and shaving the diprails and marker lights, they then coated the car in Glasurit Nardo Gray paint. The interior of this 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is thanks to M&M Hot Rod Interiors. They added the front seats from a Hyundai Tiburon and wrapped them with the same custom perforated tan leather thats found in much of the interior. Also found inside is a Billet Specialties steering wheel, a Bowler shift knob, Classic Instruments gauges, and Lokar pedals.

Powering the car and pumping out 485 horsepower is a LS3 crate engine from Pace Performance. The transmission is a Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed built by Bowler Performance Transmissions. Goolsy Customs created a custom 3-inch stainless exhaust for the car that dumps out of Borla ProXS mufflers. Brakes are Wilwood disc brakes in the front and rear, and wheels are B-Forged 500 TS wrapped in Pirelli P Zeros tires. This is an outstanding vehicle, great job to the whole team.
